Abstract

The Master Thesis deals with model of life cycle costs for rolling stock. In the introduction life cycle and its costs are characterized. There follow description of model and process of life cycle costs analysis. Further theoretical part describes systems of maintanance. Next item analyses selected models of which new model of life cycle costs for rolling stock originated. The model is described with regard to the structure and functionality. Then its functionality with use of fictive values is checked and it is also tested on a specific locomotive. Finally the operational and technical assessment was made.
