Konfigurace a testování triple play služby IPTV v pasivní optické síti

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou Triple Play služby IPTV v pasivní optické síti. Hlavním cílem práce je nakonfigurovat síť za účelem otestování a zjištění, při jaké propustnosti sítě je možné službu IPTV využívat. Testování jednotlivých parametrů sítě je prováděno metodou EtherSam. Teoretická část je věnována popisu Triple Play služeb s podrobnějším zaměřením na službu IPTV. Na konci teoretické části jsou popsány metody RFC 2544 a EtherSam, které jsou používány pro testování parametrů sítě a pro testování triple play služeb. Praktická část je v prvé řadě zaměřena na konfiguraci použitých síťových prvků a měřících přístrojů. Dále jsou v praktické části popsány a vyhodnoceny provedené testy IPTV. Testování je zaměřené na zjištění maximálního dosahu sítě při skupinovém vysílání a porovnání parametrů různých datových toků při snižování propustnosti sítě v různých typech vysílání.

This master’s thesis is engaged on the problems of IPTV Triple Play service in a passive optical network. The main goal of this thesis is to configure the network for the purpose of the testing and determining at which network throughput is possible to use IPTV. The testing of individual network parameters is carried out according to the method EtherSam. The theoretical part deals with description of Triple Play services focused on IPTV service with more details. The conclusion of this part devotes methods RFC 2544 and EtherSam which are used for testing of network parameters as well as Triple Play service. The practical part is primarily focused on configuration of network elements which were used and on measuring instruments. It includes descriptions and evaluation of the IPTV tests that have been carried out. The testing is aimed at identifying the maximum reach of the network during multicasting and comparison of parameters different bit rate if there is a reduced network throughput in different types of the video streaming.
