Analýza variabilního ventilového rozvodu Honda VTECH

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with kinematic and dynamic analysis of DOHC valve distribution with variable VTEC system. The main task is to check the sizing of a pair of valve springs to increase the maximum engine speed. Another task is to compare two almost identical engines, which differ in several components. The camshaft stroke curves of these engines were measured and compared. For analysis, a 3D model was created in Autodesk Inventor, which was used for the computational part in CREO Parametric 2.0 software.
