Abstract

The subject of this diploma thesis is employee recruitment and selection. The goal was appreciation of contemporary process and methods used at Regional Court in Ostrava. Subsidiary goal was a suggestion of some modifications which would help to remove or reduce possible imperfections. The first half of this thesis is focused on theoretical bases of process of employee recruitment and selection. Here are mentioned elementary findings related to the discussed issues. The second part is practical. In the opening is described the selected organization, Regional court in Ostrava. The attention is subsequently focused on analyses of the process of employee recruitment and selection used at court where was accomplished a survey. In the conclusion are mentioned some suggestions and recommendations for possible improvements of the process.
