Abstract

The work is focused on the analysis of the issue of drop forging of the shaped part regarding the possibility of optimizing the already set design solution and technological process. The work contains two separate parts. In the chapters dealing with the theoretical aspects of forging and work in forges, focusing on the possible direction of development of forging, are presented in the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part contains a description of the forged part and an analysis of the current state of its production process. Based on the numerical simulation of the forging process and die loading, the structural shape of the forging and forging tools was performed regarding to optimization. Verification of the proposed modifications was performed in accordance with the original solution using a simulation program.
