Návrh skipového výtahu

Abstract

The diploma thesis focuses on the design of a skip lift for the transport of the charge to the blast furnace. The theoretical part describes and assesses the existing methods of loading the charge into the blast furnace with emphasis on the loading by skip lift and the design of this transport device. On the basis of the knowledge obtained from the research on the subject and using other scientific literature and sources of information, the individual units and assemblies of the skip car including the skip car container, the travelling wheel assemblies, the tie rod assemblies, the rope tension balancing device were designed. Further, based on the calculated load, the steel rope and the drive mechanism consisting of gear motor, toothed clutch, rope drum and standing bearing houses were designed. The design solutions used in the present work are complemented by appropriate engineering calculations, both strength calculations and calculations to check the functionality of the designed device. In the appendix of the thesis there is a drawing documentation including an assembly drawing of the whole device and a detailed drawing of the welded part of the rope drum and its main assembly.
