Abstract
This thesis concerns a proposal of modifications to public transport system in town Poprad.
The aim of the thesis is to propose one, or more options of public transport lines, to meet the
present needs of the passengers. One of the described methods is used to reach the goal. The
introduction describes the present state of the public transport network with the points of
interest within the surroundings of the lines. The theoretical part concerns description of 2
heuristic methods used to plan the public transport lines. The chosen method is then applied,
and new network is proposed. The conclusion compares the proposal with the present
network.
