Abstract
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to design a travel mechanism for the front cover of a machine tool, specifically dealing with the construction design of the cover and the mechanism for its automatic movement. The introduction presents the company that assigned the thesis and provides a brief description of the machine tool and a definition of the term metallography.
