The bachelor thesis deals with rationalization of an air funnel part manufacture at Honeywell Aerospace Olomouc s.r.o. The accent is on proposal of new cutting tools suitable for machining of nickel alloys and determination of new cutting conditions. In the first part the problems of machining nickel alloys and the types of suitable cutting tools are described. In the technical part the current production is analyzed a subsequently new cutting tools for selected turning operations are proposed. As tools replaceable ceramic cutting tips are chosen that allow higher cutting speeds and thus the productivity of production can be enhanced. In the final part the economic assessment is performed where the current production is compared with the newly proposed one from the point of view of manufacturing times and costs, for each operation separately.
