Thesis deals with guestions of material division through the use of band and circular saw. The first part presents Klein & Blažek, s.r.o. company. Next chapters show characteristics of material division with help of band saw older technology, work difficulty processing and sequential operations before using semi-finished product for machine tool.Based on work difficulty of making semi-finished product for machine tool this thesis proposes new way of material division technology through the use of circular saw. Space is also given to technological and economical evaluation of both technologies.
