Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a kinematic lever for height adjustment of the seat position in a car. At the beginning I have discussed the seat mechanisms and their functions. Then I made a structural design of the kinematic lever. Subsequently, I designed a pivot fitting for the lever. Then I designed a set of four levers mounted by means of a pin in the brackets. I used FEM analysis to calculate the assembly.
