Abstract

The bachelor thesis is aimed at machining hard materials, which are classified in group H (according to ISO 513). The introduction of this work will focus on the general characteristics of the problem and the description of the company Dormer Pramet s. R. O., A detailed description and division of hard materials and their further division into groups. The second part focuses on the description of the machining of Group H materials, force and thermal stress of the cutting edge. Furthermore, the work is focused on the choice of tool, cutting and cutting conditions. Subsequently, the work deals with the description of machining technology and the possibilities of HSC, HFC, and small lateral removal, their possibilities and limits. At the end of the work I will deal with the selection and testing of a new type of cutting material, including technological and economic evaluation.
