Abstract
This thesis deals with solution of wheel selection of back-axle of heavy truck with reduction in wheel, using the true planetary gear.
The solution of nodes of wheel parts of heavy trucks and their usage by world automobile factories is introduced in the preamble. Furthermore the difference between true and false planetary gear is described here.
In the second part the concept of planetary gear in the wheel reduction and the calculation of the wheel load are made. In the engineered node a geometrical and strength calculation of all gear wheels in the gearing is made.
The third part is dedicated to the strength analyses of the important parts of the node such as axes, bearings, bolts, satellite carriers and splining connection.
