Abstract
The aim of the bachelor work is to bring an objective and comprehensive view of biodiesel as an alternative to fossil fuels in transport organization. The opening part deals with the introduction of biodiesel as a fuel and its comparison with diesel fuel, based on theoretical knowledge. In the following section is practical comparison and economic evaluation of consumption tests of locomotives operating on both fuels.
