Abstract

This thesis deals with suitable positioning device for measuring the intensity of sound in the anechoic room.. The introduction describes the physical properties of sound and the conditions under which the sound intensity measurement is performed. Subsequently possible ways of positioning in space are proposed, and for each of them a solution is evaluated, which will be the most appropriate for positioning of the measuring microphone. Based on the chosen variant of positioning the overall concept and the components necessary to implement the device are describes, including the financial cost of the entire facility. Furthermore, the model of positioning device is described, including an analysis of control of stepper motors and assemblies of programmable industrial controller. For the constructed model a measurement of repeatability of achieving the desired position without feedback is performed.
