Abstract
The master´s thesis deals with problem of emergency and cooling exchanger in active zone of nuclear power plant MIR 1200. The first part is focused on the basic segmentation of primar circuit of nuclear powerstation including schemes and description of a part of the active zone. Description of emergency system including its description and image. There is also description of concrete emergency exchanger, the decay heat after the removal of reactor shutdown, emergency removal of the reactor, planned shutdown of the reactor, description and function of straight-tube exchangers including image.
The second part contains theoretical analysis and basic heat transfer calculation of selected emergency heat exchanger. There is calculated exchanger by basic equations of thermodynamics for pre-selected inlet and outlet temperature of heated and cooled medium. The graphic part contains an outline of exchanger from the company Královopolské strojírny - Brno.
