Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to project an alternation for the current speed sensor IS 03 for the Tedom oil engine, which is used as a driving mechanism in the Regionova railway carriage. In the first part I have described a way how to control and regulate a fuel supply to a compression ignition engine. In the next part I have devoted the engine controls and a way how to scan engine revolutions. In the last part I have determined a possibility of a market to find a substitution of the original speed sensor. I analyzed an opportunity of replacing sensors afterwards with the chosen speed sensor I have made the survey in the real operation together with an evaluation.
