Vybrané aspekty aplikace čpavkové metody odsíření v podmínkách legislativy ČR

Abstract

The dissertation is focused on verifying to the possibilities of the application semi-dry ammonia desulfurization technology on real energy coal burning sources, in the context of compliance with the emission limits defined by the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic. The first part of thesis is devoted to analysis of current issues of the energy situation in the Czech Republic from the perspective of energy sources and their composition. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part focused on its problematic. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to description of the reduction of emissions of SO2 and basic most used methods for removing sulfur dioxide from flue gases. The theoretical part includes equally important summary of the applicable legislation of the Czech Republic. The experimental part of the thesis is devotes to the tests, which were in its investigation of the applicability of ammonia desulphurization technology performed. This was a series of three tests which were conducted on real energy units and one long-term test on a pilot flue gas desulphurization unit. Conclusion of the doctoral thesis summarizes the knowledge gained from the evaluation of all performed tests with recommendations for further research and development direction. Primarily were evaluated the achieved concentrations of sulfur dioxide emissions and ammonia slip. Part of the final evaluation is the further procedure for the possibility of applying ammonia desulphurization technology in terms of Czech legislation on real energy units.
