The bachelor thesis deals with the basic division-type steam turbines. Their history and the gradual development of this equipment from the very beginning to the present. In the next part is the energy balance in different operating modes alone condensing steam turbine with two subscriptions. A comparison continues with back-pressure turbine, which is used by Jiří Otipka.
