Abstract

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is to improve the efficiency of the chip machining production process in a mechanical engineering company, specifically in the company VOP CZ s.p. The main objective of this thesis is to increase the efficiency of the chip machining process in the company by analyzing and making subsequent proposals using the identified shortcomings in this process. The theoretical part explains the individual concepts that fall into the selected production process, such as machining, machine tools, machining fixtures, standardization or material marking. Annotation In the practical part, the first is the characteristics of the company as a whole, the analysis of the current state in which the company is currently located and the analysis of the chip machining production process from various angles. The thesis also lists individual bottlenecks in the production process that resulted from the analysis of the selected workplace. These optimization proposals are also subsequently given for the bottlenecks. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the benefits of these optimization proposals and the subsequent benefit of optimization for the company.
