Abstract

Thesis is dealing with the utilization of the hardening models which are included in FEM software Ansys 11 for a simulation of stress-strain relationship for steel 11523 in the sphere of low-cyclical fatigue and cyclic plasticity. Theoretical part of thesis describes the classical mathematical models involved to describe stress-strain relationship for tough metals in the sphere of cyclic plasticity and their realization in software Ansys and MSC.Marc/Mentat. Chosen hardening models are calibrated using fatigue tests realized on the specimen made of steel 11523. Their ability to describe real material behavior is verified on the basis of the simulations of chosen tests and the comparison their results with the experimental data.
