Thesis supervisor: Ing. Tomáš Výtisk, Ph.D. The bachelor thesis concerns with choosing the appropriate type of combustion plant for heating a family house. The beginning part is devoted to various types of combustibles and their cost and heating power. The key for choosing the right combustion plant is the knowledge of total heat loss of the house. Heat loss calculation is based on available technical documentation and the main part of the work is dedicated to it. At the end of the work various types of combustion plants are compared in regard to operating costs for a year worth of given combustible and costs of acquisition.
