Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the Purchasing Process and Supplier-Customer Relations in company Havířovská teplárenská, a. s., which supplies heat and hot water for the citizens of the city of Havirov. The theoretical part describes the theoretical background of the purchasing process and purchasing strategy, supplier selection and management of supplier-customer relations. The aim is to assess the effectiveness of the procurement process and the procedure for selecting suitable suppliers and contractors segmentation according to the share of the total purchase volume. Analysis of the current status of the purchase process and customer-supplier relationships in the practical part were specified main aspects of buying and using ABC analysis was confirmed by the Pareto rule. Analysis of the procurement process and the management of supplier-customer relations was proposed measures to enable the buying process more efficient and reduce their administrative difficulty.
