Výroba repliky krytu sání karburátoru pomocí technologie SLS

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the design and manufacture of a replica carburettor intake cover for a Babetta 228/206/207 moped using SLS additive manufacturing technology. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical. It deals with additive manufacturing, its difference from subtractive manufacturing and profitability. It then discusses in more detail the SLS additive manufacturing technology and the machine design layout for this technology. The basic properties of polymers and their powder bases for SLS technology are also discussed. Finally, the Babetta single-speed moped is introduced. The second part of the thesis is practical and deals with the issue of carburettor intake cover on Babetta single speed moped. It points out the shortcomings of the original cover and by digitizing it these shortcomings are eliminated. The work also includes a structurally improved design of the carburettor intake cover. The manufacturing process of both components (replica + design improved design) is also presented. Finally, a discussion of the results obtained is made.
