Welding of Ti64ELI alloy made by additive SLM technology

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the welding of Ti64ELI alloy, produced by the additive SLM method. In the theoretical part, an overview of Ti alloys and an analysis of welding of these alloys is made. The experimental part contains a description of the basic materials used, preparation of welded joints and welding technology. The work contains the results of chemical composition, hardness, microhardness and metallographic analysis. In the conclusion part, the results obtained are summarized.
