Abstract
The objective of this thesis is design of solar system and solar collectors for family house with four people. The theoretical part is dedicated to basic collectors with different type of operation. In practical part there are considered some factors for calculations of selected collector: hot water consumption by one person, the need to heat water from 10°C to 55°C, collector slope and efficiency with considering loses.
The evaluation of designed system is discussed in conclusion in terms of environmental as well as economical.
