Abstract

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with air transport of dangerous goods classed as 1.4S from the airport of departure, namely Ostrava to the airport of destination, namely San Francisco. This Bachelor´s thesis does not focuse on dangerous goods road transport to the airport of departure; however there is an explicit reference made to the ADR, an European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods. In the introduction there is a detailed description of legal frame regarding the air transport of dangerous goods, specifically IATA´s Dangerous Goods Regulations. With this manual in mind the technological process is then formulated. From the economic and time point of view, both options are evaluated and the more suitable one is chosen.
