The thesis deals with the theory of combustion turbines, consisting of the history of development and the principle of operation of these devices. Furthermore, a detailed description of the SR-30 jet engine with all its main components and measuring elements is presented. Measurements and subsequent thermodynamic calculations are addressed, with mass flow calculations essential to the design of a power turbine. The most suitable option was selected from the proposed solutions and was elaborated in the design. For the chosen option, the measurements have been selected and the design was implemented in a tutorial model.
