Abstract
Baccalaureate work deals with torsion of solid and thin-walled square profiles (sections).
In analytic solution, Saint-Venant's torsion theory and Prandtl's membrane analogy is used.
Numerical solution is accomplished through the use of ANSYS program, while the right function of BEAM 188 element is being detected.
