Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with identification of modal parameters of the gate valve A42, which is used in nuclear power plants. The valve, the modal parametrs and the way how it can be detected is described in the introducing. After it, the experimental modal analysis is described and the results are evaluated. Then, the FEM analysis is performed and the results are evaluated. In the last step, the measured and the calculated results are compared.
