Abstract

This thesis deals with rationalization of deep hole drilling, for drilling a component. In the first part are worked out the basic terms, and it´s focused of the production process. Next is a brief introduction of the companies where these issues were addressed. The second section describes the basics of drilling process with the methods of deep drilling (Gun drill and STS). In the third chapter was the calculation of the components of drilling time for each method on different machines. After then was suggested, what kind of the drilling methods and equipment options are suitable for production.
