Abstract
Thesis discusses about laser-beam permeable welding. It deals with the influence of the laser to form a weld plastic plates. Welding is performed by the diode laser, with parameters adapted for welding polycarbonate. The theoretical part deals with polycarbonate, laser welding and methods for measuring the hardness of this material. In the practical part concerning the assessment of visual defects on macroscopically enlarged test samples. Another section is devoted to the observation of microscopic magnification on metallographic grinding samples. The last step is performed a series of micro-hardness load HV0,01, where attention apply to changes in hardness after welding process. Hardness doesn‘t change in the progress of the weld joint, so it can eliminate thermal degradation due to welding technology.
