Abstract

This thesis deals with streamlining the production of electrodes for EDM. Was carried out at INA Lanškroun, Ltd. Addresses the production of graphite electrodes, copper and copper alloy with tungsten. It describes the technology of using milling tools Inova Tools and machining centers Röders. The introduction describes general issues and machinability of materials. A substantial part is devoted to the possibilities of optimizing production - machine calibration, select the new high-speed machining center and high-speed CNC milling tools, as well as the overall organization of production. Conclusion of the work is that the optimal solution will apparently using the calibration systems and the general layout of production with a view to reduce production times.
