Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with maintenance rationalization in industrial companies during the production process. At the beginning of the thesis, the theoretical base and maintenance development is presented as well as an introduction of the company in which the thesis is dealt. I focus on present function of maintenance, analyse its condition and describe its deficiencies. After evaluation of the present conditions, I suggest to introduce a system of totally integrated maintenance (TIM), which is totally productive maintenance (TPM) integrated into current information system Helios Green that is being currently used there to run the company. Methodology of the suggested rationalized system of maintenance management is demonstrated on constructive parts of a crane, after dealing with maintenance management of VÍTKOVICE MECHANIKA, Inc. The recommended methodology defines the approach to the application. In conclusion definite benefits – maintenance cost cutting, increasing serviceability and options for volume of production rise are defined.
