Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with improving of production process of an electric motor produced by company SIEMENS Elektromotory s.r.o. – based in Mohelnice. It consists of a change of production material flow in order to decrease buffering stock and economic costs for production between two workplaces, stacking and insulating of stator stacks. Based on current state analysis there are suggested possible solutions for higher efficiency. The most suitable alternative is a combination of workplaces of stacking and insulation to one workplace, when only one worker operates these workplaces. After the successful project realization, the improving of production process was reached by decreasing of buffering stock and cost saving of an employee salary.
