Problematika identifikace kořenů disperzní rovnice Lambových vln

Abstract

The thesis deals with problematics of Lamb wave dispersion equation root finding, which can result in real, imaginary or even complex numbers. In the theoretical part, author describes wave propagation phenomena, physical meaning of wavenubers, theory of Lamb waves and its practical applications. The practical part contains description of two methods – the method of contours and the method of spectral decomposition, which have been used for obtaining complex roots of Lamb wave dispersion equation and subsequently compared with respect to the numerical efficiency.
