Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the mechanical properties of silicon carbide SiSiC produced by additive manufacturing. In the introduction brief information about the additive technology is given. Subsequently, the additive technology is divided into 7 separate methods, which are further described in more detail. The thesis further discusses the binder jetting method by which the physical experiment in the form of printing of SiSiC samples was to be carried out. Lastly, the thesis discusses the mechanical properties of SiSiC produced by additive manufacturing and compares these properties with those achieved by the material in traditional manufacturing methods.
