Abstract

One of the most important parts of the purchase process is the evaluation of the supplier performance. Analysis of the current situation was performed in the Romotop company, s.r.o., and because of the deficiencies identified the new system of evaluation of the supplier performance was designed. The part of the diploma thesis is the description of four models of the supplier evaluation. One of them was recommended to the company including recommendations for its implementation. Because of the absence of measurable evaluation of suppliers in the Romotop company, s.r.o., the priority was to suggest and establish a "starter" rating system for suppliers with management recommendations for subsequent deeper development.
