Vliv únavy a spánku na lidskou výkonnost dopravních pilotů

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of the influence of pilot fatigue and sleep, which is a significant factor affecting air transport safety. The theoretical part is devoted to the physiological basis of sleep, circadian rhythms, and specific aspects of fatigue in aviation, such as causes, manifestations, and strategies for coping with fatigue during various types of flight operations. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey among pilots to map their sleep habits and subjective perception of sleep quality in relation to workload. Overall, the thesis aims to shed light on the role of sleep in regulating pilot fatigue and the conditions that influence their ability to recover sufficiently during and outside of duty.
