Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the streamlining of steel bar peeling technology used with LANDGRAF T80 peeling machine at Trinec Ironworks plc, for the peeling center of annealing and modification of precious metals. It focuses on experimenting with cutting parameters of LANDGRAF T80 and the peeling technology of ferrous-pearlitic steel 38MnVS6. A comparison was drawn of BOEHLERIT cutting tools of two replaceable cutting platelets LNGF 2010 BML – M1 LCP15P a LNGF 2010 BML – H1 LC218E. The thesis further deals with the optimization of machining and as well as wear and tear of cutting tools. The findings were tested on the quality of the treated surface of peeled steel bar 38MnVS6 with the 68 mm diameter at the optimally set parameters of two cutting tools.
