Abstract
First main part of thesis is focused on analysis of unfolding and erecting a two part self-erecting tower crane's tower from horizontal position with parts of the tower lying folded up on each other to vertical position with parts unfolded into straight angle, and dependent process of lifting crane's boom from position on crane's tower's top part to horizontal position perpendicular to the tower, via system of cables. The main analysis' ouputs is determining the function of tower parts' and boom's rake angles in relation to horizontal cradle. In second part there is going to be performed dimensional synthesis of four bar linkage mechanism of level-luffing harbour crane, so that point, lying at the very end of the coupler's overhanging arm, would copy the trajectory as close to horizontal line for as large portion of mechanism's motion as possible. The synthesis of the mechanism is going to be solved by using two methods of dimensions' optimization – method of biggest sensitivity and method of biggest gradient of optimization's target function and in the end there is going to be compared trajectory of mentioned point for mechanism with original dimensions a for mechanisms with optimized dimensions and for mechanisms with optimized dimensions mutually.
