Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with possibilities of reduction of compressed air consumption at pressure cleaning of products. In the first part I focused on different types of air knives and nozzles, which are used to reduce of air consumption. The second part focuses on measurements at the company, including the machine´s current status as well as a description of which measurements I have performed. Next is summary of my laboratory measurements, including a simulated circuit and the measures values that were recorded and evaluated. There is also description of the measurement tools utilized. The last of this thesis focuses on my calculations of present state compressed air consumption as well as alternate possibilities. The alternate possibilities section also includes the calculations of any cost savings associated with each possibility.
