The bachelor thesis deals with the use of natural gas expansion in a reduction station for the production of elektricity. It’s main part is awareness of pressure reduction, throttling of gas in a gas engine, properties and division of pressure levels of gas pipelines. Final thesis is focused in part on the technologies used in the reduction station Velké Němčice, which I found within the availability of internal information at work at the company GasNet Services, s.r.o. selected as an example of the operation of the reduction station. In this section you will learn about devices such as expansion turbines, controllers, cogeneration units, etc. In the last part, readers will be introduced to the balance of expansion turbine for specified parameters.
