In this thesis library of components of rail vehicles is created for possibility of simulating tasks in the field of aerodynamic flow. Subsequently, the basic methodology of composing and inserting components into the simulation program and verification of their functionality was proposed. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on the basic theory concerning the rail vehicles, their movement, and furthermore the vehicle resistances are developed. Then there is a explained theory of flows around the body, methods of measurement. Following part is about basic principles of modeling and implementation itself. Finally there is, a summary of the results and recommendations.
