Abstract

Pantlík, R. Optimization of welding parameters for the method 121, Thesis. Ostrava: VSB-Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Technology, 2014, 71 p Supervisor: doc. Ing. Drahomír Schwarz, MD. The thesis is focused on welding method 121 The aim is to optimize the welding parameters on the basis of their results to suggest welding parameters for butt weld in the PA position on the test plates and subsequently evaluate according to DIN EN ISO15614-1. In the theoretical part of the study the welding parameters are evaluated and their subsequent effect on the properties of welded joints. The kriteria are stated to eliminate the encountered problems in submerged arc welding, the possibility of discovering the causes of the subsequent solution of the welding parameters. In the experimental part of the work is proposed based on the optimized parameters butt weld, which complies with the technical requirements of welded structures for the purpose.
