Abstract
The Diploma Thesis concerns the design and optimization of an air hoist for mining operations. The goal was to create a suitable model designed to meet these specific requirements: chain PEWAG G80 11,2x34, minimal stroke speed of 2m/min, and use of the air motor from DEPRAG which is still under development.
The Diploma Thesis introduction contains a short summary about air hoists, standard ATEX technology, and and an explanation about TRIZ methodology. The Diploma Thesis main text explains how the structural design and optimization was accomplished with TRIZ methodology and the Goldfire Innovator program.
