Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis of the employee education and development system in the selected company. The first theoretical part describes key concepts such as human capital, education, and competencies, and outlines the evolution of personnel activities toward strategic human resource management. The second practical part characterizes the selected company and analyzes its current educational processes through a questionnaire survey and an interview with the store manager. In conclusion, based on the conducted analyses, measures are proposed, including the development of soft skills, visualization of career paths, integration of e-learning with practice, and the introduction of microlearning, which can contribute to higher employee motivation and increased company competitiveness.
