Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of intracardiac electrograms recorded before and after pulsed field ablation of atrial fibrillation in the region of the pulmonary veins. The aim of the thesis was to assess whether selected signal features extracted in the time, frequency, time-frequency, and nonlinear domains are associated with the patient’s long-term clinical outcome following the procedure. The thesis also involved the creation of a patient dataset, annotation of the recordings, and the design and implementation of a signal processing workflow, including subsequent analysis of the results. The results showed that the analysed features reflect signal changes before and after ablation; however, their ability to independently predict long-term clinical outcome is limited. The final chapter is therefore devoted to the possibilities of combining selected features in order to identify their potential for future predictive applications. The thesis provides a comprehensive approach to the processing of intracardiac signals after pulsed field ablation and establishes a basis for the subsequent development of predictive models.
