Strategická analýza rodinného podniku v odvětví prodeje stavebního materiálu

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with a strategic analysis of a family-owned business operating in the field of construction material sales in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim of this thesis is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the company, analyse its external and internal environment, and based on the analyses conducted, propose specific strategic steps leading to the strengthening of the company’s competitiveness and long-term stability. The thesis first discusses the theoretical and methodological background in the theoretical part, and in the practical part it focuses on the application of individual methods to the selected company. For the analysis, the following methods were used: PEST analysis, Porter’s Five Forces analysis, financial analysis methods, the 7S model, SWOT analysis, a questionnaire survey, and the Business Model Canvas. The result of this thesis is an evaluation of the findings and a proposal of specific strategies and recommendations.
