Abstract
The master´s thesis focuses on the strength calculation of the frame of the cone crusher
KDC28/38 from PSP Engineering a.s. The introduction summarizes crushing technologies, types
of crushers, material sorting, methods of mounting processing machines, and their properties.
The second part includes the design of flexible mounting, followed by the strength calculation
of the machine frame for both rigid and flexible mounting. The calculation involves a static
strength analysis, modal analysis, and harmonic analysis. Additionally, a comparison of computer
simulations based on the type of mounting is conducted. The entire work is calculated using
the Ansys software environment version 2023R2 and its associated modules. The results will
provide the foundation for the design and implementation of a compliant mounting system for
the machine at the client’s facility.
